What seems will your visitors be proud of this 12 months? Artists from R+Co Collective and IGK percentage the kinds they are doing and recommendations they are making now that 2022 is right here.
Time to Restore
“Life drastically changed after many months of quarantine and so did our habits, routines, and priorities,” says Aaron Grenia (above), co-founder of IGK Hair Care. “We’re learning the importance of practical maintenance routines and using products with ingredients that actually nourish the hair. For 2022 we can expect more products for curly, thick hair—products that deeply penetrate the hair cuticle and repair from the inside out.”
On your visitors with thick hair short of restore, Grenia recommends IGK’s Best possible Lifestyles 100% Plant-Powered Nourishing Hair Oil and Mythical Dream Hair Shampoo & Conditioner.
Brown Will get the Crown
“Gen Z are now more aware of their health and being healthy,” reports Franck Izquierdo (above), co-founder of IGK Hair Care. “I see the healthy brunette as being the trend of the new year. Being behind the chair every day in my salons, I’m listening to my clients, and they also feel like brunette gives them more power and strength.”
Izquierdo recommends IGK Combined Emotions Brunette Go away-In Firming Drops.
Face Framing and Solar-Kissed Highlights
“For 2022, I predict we’ll be seeing a lot of brunette with caramel-melt face framing,” predicts Richy Kandasamy (above), colorist and R+Co Collective member. “This shade is great on a darker complexion, depending on the season. In the winter, guests can go warmer with their hair color. In the summer, they can keep it in the same palette, but more of a muted, chestnut tone. Seamless sun-kissed highlights will also be big. This is an all-season, year-round color. These seamless, natural highlights are so delicate that people can wear it with any makeup.”
Bangs, Bobs and 90’s Resurgence
“I feel like a heavy bang will be popular for 2022,” says Anthony Campbell, stylist and R+Co Collective member. “A lot of women will be asking for a heavier, either straight across, blunt bang or sideswept, slightly longer bang.”
Clariss Rubenstein, stylist and R+Co Collective member, says, “I’m seeing a mid-length, blunt ’90s style bob trending. Somewhere above the shoulder and below the chin.”
This 12 months will carry out fitter, glossy hair, in step with Marwa Bashir, stylist and R+Co Collective member. “I believe the lengthy ’90s layers shall be right here to stick, together with extra French-inspired, easy hair styling. I like the speculation of much less is extra for 2022. A lot extra colour that feels herbal however with an increased gloss or herbal spotlight.”
